Michelle’s skill and vision are in demand across the country. But the first recipient of the San Francisco native’s coveted cuts was her little sister, whose hair a 12-year-old Michelle would practice on, having already bobbed every Barbie in the house. Their mom, a stylist herself in the 1960s, was Michelle’s first inspiration to pursue a career in hair and her first teacher.
Her professional training began under the tutelage of Marcy Harmon at the beloved San Francisco salon Cowboys and Angels, where she was schooled in both classic Vidal Sassoon technique and modern razor-cutting. Michelle continued learning advanced cutting and styling techniques at Bumble and bumble in New York. She cemented her success as a stylist there as she built a steady clientele of celebrities and began working for magazines.

It was his love of modern art, fashion, movies and mid- century architecture that inspired Speck to begin styling family and friends’ hair as a teenager. Before joining the Sally Hershberger Downtown team as a stylist, Travis worked and studied at Bumble & Bumble salon in New York City where his career took off. He owes part of this success to the mentors that helped cultivate his skills along the way including Jimmy Paul, Laurent Philippon, Neil Moodie, Howard McClearn and Michael Gordon.
Travis has defined his career by creating and providing his clients with chic, effortless, sexy hairstyles. His distinct, trademark style of cutting with a razor and his trademark for gorgeous haircuts is what makes him one of the most sought after stylists in New York City.
From the red carpet, editorial shoots, press events and Mercedes Benz fashion week, he’s styled hair for designer runway shows such as Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westwood, Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, Jason Wu, The Row, Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim and more.
With an impressive list of celebrity clients, Travis has styled the looks of many celebrities including MIA, Milla Jovovish, Ke$ha, Nina Persson, Stephanie Seymour, Amanda Peet, Kesley Grammer and Citizens Band.
Andrea Donoghue, or better known to her clients and friends as “Dre” has spent the past decade living and working in NYC. A native Ohioan, she was drawn to the city to work and teach for the acclaimed Bumble and bumble salon.
As long as Dre has been in New York she has worked backstage on top designer shows such as Zac Posen, Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, and Dior. She credits her close work under some of fashions most influential hairstylists, Laurent Phillipon, Rolando Beauchamp, James Pecis, and Guido Palau for her continual growth and education. She takes the inspiration from these experiences and shares this modern approach to hairdressing with her clients and other stylists in the industry.
Dre’s love for educating has allowed her both to travel the country, and teach privately from her studio in the East Village of NYC. Her education translates what is currently happening in the fashion industry to achievable looks in both cutting and styling, and custom looks for her clients.
